Old Shatterhand

Dit kanon heb ik gemaakt met een 1/2 duims snelontluchter.Door een hamerklep open te tikken opent de snelontluchter razendsnel een gat van rond 14 mm.

Schiet knikkers ( 16 mm) en ik krijg er een schot of 7 uit vanaf 35 bar.


en hier zie je de voorloper ervan, waarbij ik voor het eerst een QEV ( snelontluchter) met een hamerklep bediende.
Schoot minder hard, door zijn kleinere luchtkamer en lekte op de knikloop.Zat een magazijntje onder de loop die bij elke knik een kogeltje in de qev plaatste.Leuk concept, maar werkte niet super,helaas.

How do you go up to 35 bars?

We use the " motor" from a refridgerator.
It is basically a small compressor in a shell, driven by a very large electric motor in comparisson.
Mine reaches 60 bar, maybe more but that's where I get afraid.

He is the expert on this.
The bolt hanle used to be part of a doorhandle ( same piece as the added weight on the hammer) wich I sanded and polished.
It was the last think I changed so I guess I did well..

Ok, we also use these cheap compressors in France.
